From 2026-27 the B.LEAGUE runs three men's tiers: B.PREMIER with 26 clubs, B.LEAGUE ONE with 25 and B.LEAGUE NEXT with 4. On-court promotion and relegation ends in 2026-27. Clubs instead earn a place in a tier through a licence review of attendance, revenue, arena and finances. The WJBL runs the women's W League with 15 teams.
